Ecuador is a paradise: The diversity of the country is reflected not only in its stunning nature, but also in the traditional dishes shaped by this geographic variety. And although Ecuador has so much to offer, it is still very unknown. That is precisely why it is our mission to bring you this country a little closer, and let you taste this diversity and share with you some exciting stories about Ecuador along the way. We are working on a cookbook – a culinary journey from Galápagos to the Amazon.
The idea for this book began as a small recipe illustration for friends and family. Over time, Annika’s creativity and Luis’ culinary know‑how grew into an extensive cookbook, filled with authentic Ecuadorian recipes, exciting stories about the country and its people, and practical advices. Without realizing it, a complete culinary journey through Ecuador ultimately emerged.
On our way to the cookbook, we have met many nice and supportive people. Since 2024, friends, family and neighbours have motivated us to further develop the project.
Our plan? We plan to publish our Ecuador-cookbook in 2026! So stay tuned! In the meantime, we share some of our delicious dishes here on this website and in the Ceviche-eBook (Companion Guide) with you.
